Currently Hawai‘i's imports more than 90 percent of its food supply from out of state. It is important that we find ways for local farmers and businesses to work together to bolster the value chain and bring more locally produced food to consumers.

By understanding consumer preferences for local food, we can work with Hawai‘i’s agriculture industry to expand food production and bring more fresh, quality local produce, grass-fed beef and dairy, and more to consumers.

Hawai‘i has an abundant supply of sun, wind, water and trash that can be captured and used to help power our island state, thus reducing its dependence on imported oil.

As an island state, Hawai‘i has to carefully manage its waste stream to better capture items that can be recycled or reused. By finding innovative ways to reduce waste and generate a new life for old materials that still have value, we can help minimize the need for landfills.
We are a Hawai‘i-focused impact investing firm that uses for-profit and non-profit investments to improve the quality of life for island residents in three areas:
